PEOPLESOFT

Executive Production of People Soft Six Worldwide Launch Event and  Live Broadcast
Audience: Key customers, press and analysts
About: Our company was selected as Executive Producer for the worldwide announcement of PeopleSoft Six, a two hour live broadcast originating from London, down linked to corporate, press and analyst audiences in Australia, Asia, Mexico, Canada and Europe. This event presented the global strategy and delivery plans for HR product integration for enterprises. This comprehensive project encompassed the management of 12 down link site events and the translation of the broadcast for local languages.

The Park Lane Hotel in London was the event venue. Thematic elements and branding created an environment in London with consistent theming throughout the global event locations. We managed over 150 crew members, in the US and abroad to transform the hotel into a venue for a major technological event. The event required elaborate staging and a set design that accommodated a giant turntable that rotated actors, on and off the stage, for various theatrical scenes depicting customer scenarios. Additional phone lines were brought into the hotel for a televised global Q and A session. The live show included a panel of experts, C level participation with partners, speaker support, video production and show scripting. The event required months of preparation, which included content, scripting and design preparation for integrating the branding and event theming on the interior and exterior of the hotel. Invitations and pre-event collateral were translated into 10 languages. Logistics included set and presentation video production, catering, and broadcast translation details. Despite the snow in London on the day of the broadcast, the show was a huge success with very positive shareholder results. SARATOGA SYSTEMS

Intersections User’s Group Event
Audience: Product users and sales managers
About: This annual User’s Conference was held in Paris. The “Intersections” theme was developed and implemented throughout the event environment and video production. The applications included invitations, venue signage, collateral, product demos, presentation development and staging.

INFORMIX

Executive Production of “Eye on the Future” Worldwide Launch Event and Live Broadcast
Audience: As Executive Producers of the event we managed an extended crew to create this live satellite broadcast from the Hearbst Theatre in San Francisco. In attendance was a “live” audience of 350 customers, prospects, press and analysts. From the staging and videos to the event monument in the lobby, the thematic elements and branding were documented for deployment to the 45 global event locations linked by satellite feed. We worked closely with the Informix executive staff to choreograph the live show that included coaching well-known industry partners and show scripting. The event required months of design preparation that included theme development, show content and design for integrating the brand and theme throughout the venue. This comprehensive project encompassed development and production of the content videos, presentations, staging, speaker support, theming, invitations and the development of a full-page announcement ad in the Wall Street Journal.

First Annual User’s Conferences 
Audience: Product users and sales managers
About: The first annual Saratoga Systems User’s Conferences were in Vancouver BC and Washington DC. The conferences were on tight budgets. A visual theme was developed and implemented throughout the event environment and video production. The applications included staging, invitations, venue signage, collateral, presentation development, product demos and workbooks.

HP TRADING COMMUNITIES

eServices Supply Chain Launch 
Audience: User’s group members
About: The I2 Planet Tradeshow event was the launch site for the new HP e-Services Supply Chain announcement. We produced and integrated a concept that utilized a variety of mediums. The keynote speaker was introduced with a video and he was equipped with an interactive demo and a presentation and he was complimented by a “video wall” behind him. The theme was brand compliant and consistent across the show invitations, direct mail, booth environment and collateral.

We capitalized on demand generation opportunities by tracking the activity and interests of the attendees in the booth by scanning their vouchers at certain points of interest. All of this took place in an environment of live presentations, videos and live demos. We then followed up with them a week later with a personalized digital marketing campaign and incented the prospect to complete a survey. At each prospect touch point we provided relevant information for their use. The tracking resulted in qualified profiles and ranked leads for engagement by HP sales.

Summit User’s Group Event
Audience: User’s group members
About: The conference structure supported 8 workshop tracks and required up-to-the-minute coordination. Rutherford Associates created the theme and look & feel for consistent use across various mediums; signage, video production and collateral production and more. The event roll-in video drives the theme of the Summit Users Conference: “Staying Ahead of the Curve”. A big beat and fast machines gives the eye candy flavor.

MACROVISION

Presidents Club Event Program
Audience: President’s Club attendees
About: President’s Club is a prestigious event in most companies– Macrovision being no different. The venue was Ireland, with its lush and picturesque scenes. Perfect for a photo pictorial– which is exactly what Rutherford Associates did as a basis for the Event Program information. Those attendees were some happy campers!
