Generating traffic for SiliconView

About: SiliconView is the electronic billboard in Silicon Valley. With its bright LED technology, “the brightest idea in outdoor advertising” was created as the tagline. When we first met SiliconView, due to low demand, they were giving away space on the billboard. We began work with a Harris pole revealing discoveries about viewer perceptions, awareness indicators, driver demographics and viewer recall. The program was informed by the conclusions of the study and fueled with integrated brand marketing and design. The development included the creation of the website and was integrated throughout various media; print advertising, the SiliconView billboard advertising and an informative video infomercial to educate media buyers. The video was part of a very successful media kit that included the Harris poll findings and was sent to prospective advertising agency clients. Before long, there was a waiting list for billboard space. Today, some of the world’s most recognizable brands advertise on SiliconView.
